Innovation Brew Works Attends Largest
Beer Festival in California

In mid-September, Innovation Brew Works (IBW) personnel

traveled to Sacramento to participate in the California Craft

Beer Summit, the largest two-day beer festival in California.

IBW Manager Jennifer Waggener, IBW Beer Production

Manager Koby Harris, Pony Express at the CBA Manager Rosa

Morales-Jimenez, IBW Assistant Brewer Eddie Padilla, and

Dining Services employee Alex Iniguez attended the event.

This event included a hands-on, educational exposition at

the Sacramento Convention Center complete with exhibits,

demos, displays, educational seminars, and food pairings.

In addition to the expo, there was a Brewers Showcase Beer

Festival which featured over 150 California-only craft brewers,

including IBW. The event was set up right on Capitol Mall and

offered over 400 unique beers.

IBW served Rubottom’s Red, ’66 Blonde, Brethren Belgian,

and Bronco Brown to hundreds of beer enthusiasts. While all

of their brews were well received, the ’66 Blonde and Bronco

Brown welcomed the highest praise. IBW also distributed

stickers, coasters, t-shirts, and pamphlets about their

operation and brews.
